Functionality features included in the solution: eMail Mktg,eCommerce,Photo Gallery,Blog Based on the Gold Coast and being a leading supplier of glass pool fencing material for both DIY home owner as well as pool fence installers, Alto Vista approached us with the basic requirement of needing a strong eCommerce solution that provided them with greater flexibility in how they managed sales and the ability to manage the content of their site themselves. Considerable effort was put into designing a solution that delivered to the business needs and that reflected the way in which their customers thought and operated. Robert, the owner, wanted to make it easy for DIY home owner to be able to choose the right components to make up their fence while at the same time the system had to recognise the way in which professional pool installers would buy product. Our eCommerce solution also suited Rob's needs around different components having "add-on" costs for certain materials. This gave Rob greater control over how he priced product and made it almost foolproof for buyers when selecting items and making choices around the different options. Another aspect with which we have worked closely with Rob is the marketing of his web site. A number of key initiatives are being put in place to ensure that people will return to the site and refer it to their friends or work colleagues. We have also put in place Google Adword campaigns for Rob in conjunction with our alliance partners at Searchsmart. |
